Excited about Super Bowl XLV in North Texas? You could be part of the excitement. On Aug. 21 and 22, the North Texas Super Bowl Host Committee will gather at Grapevine Mills Mall in Grapevine to recruit thousands of volunteers to help welcome Super Bowl attendees.

The event will take place from 2-6 p.m. at Entry 5, near the AMC 30 Theatres. This is also the weekend of Texas’ tax-free holiday, so you can get a little shopping done while you’re there. All volunteers will receive an official volunteer uniform and get a chance to attend a special volunteer event.

In addition, 5 volunteers who register by Aug. 31 will win a pair of tickets to XLV Countdown Live, a concert starrring Tim McGraw.

Now, the question you’ve been wondering about: If you volunteer, will you get to be inside the stadium for the Super Bowl? The answer is, probably not. But you will get to be up close and personal with the Super Bowl madness. You could be placed at the airport, a major hotel, The NFL Experience, or several other venues to help greet fans and perform other duties.
