Tween Art Workshop for Spring BreakHeads up: On March 13, the Sid Richardson Museum in Fort Worth will host a Spring Break Art Workshop for kids ages 10-13. The workshop lasts from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Students will examine artists, such as George Catlin, who went West in the 1800s to capture the great American West in paint. Students will learn about color theory and how color influences mood and story in artwork. Each student will create their own painting on canvas after a guided tour and sketching in the gallery.

The workshop is $10 per child and pre-registration is required – so fill out the form now if you’re interested.

The Sid Richardson Museum is at 309 Main St. in Fort Worth.
