dayindistrictIf you’re looking for something to do this weekend, put this event at the top of your list: Fort Worth’s Day in the District, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26. On this day, seven museums and other centers in Fort Worth will be offering free admission, as well as free performances at some locations. Participating museums include the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, the Kimbell Art Museum, and more. Click here for a list of participating locations.

As for the performances, you can hear guitar music from the Fort Worth Classic Guitar Society at noon at the Kimbell, see a swing dance demonstration at the FW Community Arts Center, and more. Click here for a list of performance locations and times.

The city is even providing free transportation through the Cultural District via the T, so you can get from place to place without having to get in your car. Click here for a list of T stops.

I’ll see you there!
