On Saturday, March 14, the C.R. Smith Museum will host a special event, “Women of the Greatest Generation,” beginning at 11:30 a.m. Rosie the Riveter will be on site for three presentations on women’s roles during World War II. Family-oriented programs will happen at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., and a special children’s program will happen at 1 p.m. The event is free with admission to the C.R. Smith Museum, which is cheap – $7 for adults, $4 for seniors 65 and up, $4 for active duty military $4 for students with ID and $4 for children ages 2 to 17. Museum members and kids under 2 get in free.
