On Sunday, April 3, come to Fort Worth’s Southside for Open Streets, a car-free street fair filled with activities for everyone. The fair will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Magnolia Avenue between Eighth Avenue and Hemphill Street. Some parts of the route will be full of activities and vendors, while some will be more relaxed, allowing the gentle enjoyment of a neighborhood not dominated by cars. There is no charge to attend!
Enjoy food vendors, live music, water stations, a children’s area, fitness classes and more. Dogs are welcome. Choose to spend your time in the Roll Zone — an entire lane dedicated to rolling fun on bikes, boards, skates and scooters — or the Stroll Zone — more than 100 community partners providing free, family-friendly activities. Parking is available at 1201 Alston Ave.
While you’re enjoying Open Streets, make sure to head over to Magnolia Green Park for the Fort Worth Earth Party, a family event that celebrates everything green and sustainable in Fort Worth. Hours are noon to 4 p.m. The Earth Party includes educational booths, children’s activities, a tree giveaway and prizes, including four Fort Worth staycation packages. This is also a free event.
