Largest Miniature Train Exhibit in Texas 'The Trains at NorthPark' Is Open in Dallas

All ready to board The Trains at NorthPark Dallas! The Trains have been a NorthPark tradition for 23 years, benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. The train’s most complex miniature toy train display comprises trains running around 1,600 feet of rail on a voyage through America.

TRAINS AT NORTHPARK DALLAS – WHAT TO EXPECT?

The Trains at NorthPark, sponsored by the Bank of Texas and supporting Ronald McDonald House of Dallas (RMHD), will celebrate its 23rd year at NorthPark Center. Since its establishment in 1987, the cherished holiday experience has welcomed over 70,000 visitors and has helped earn millions of dollars for RMHD.

The Trains at NorthPark, which will run from November 13, 2021, to January 2, 2022, is Texas’ biggest miniature train show, with over 750 railcars. The trains would circle 1,600 feet of tracks, moving from coast – to – coast on a fanciful voyage throughout the United States, as guests to the event. With stops along the way in New York, Arizona, and Colorado, the trains travel through New England’s fall foliage to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge!

During the six-week run, Covid procedures will be in place, following CDC recommendations. Those taking an interest in sponsoring The Trains at NorthPark should get in touch with Diane Fullingim at dfullingim@rmhdallas.org; those interested in buying a railcar or Family Pass should get in touch with Kathlyn McGuill at kmcguill@rmhdallas.org, and those willing to volunteer should get in touch with Caitlyn Carter at ccarter@rmhdallas.org.
