On Saturday, Oct. 20, downtown Grapevine will host the 15th annual Butterfly Flutterby, a fun, free festival focused on butterfly-themed activities. The fun takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in downtown Grapevine. Things will get kicked off with a butterfly costume parade; kids and pets in butterfly costumes are invited to participate. (You can register for the parade beginning at 8:45 a.m. at the corner of Wall and Jenkins streets; lineup begins at 9:30 a.m.)
Throughout the day, there will also be butterfly exhibits, crafts, live entertainment and more. Butterfly releases are also planned for 10:45 a.m., 11:45 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. near the Grapevine Cotton Belt Depot (705 S. Main St.).
