If you’re looking for something to do on those hot summer nights, why not come down to Sundance Square for a free movie? Every Thursday through July 2, you can come to the Chisholm Trail parking lot at 4th and Main streets and see a movie for free! The movie for tonight (June 11) is canceled due to the weather, but next week (June 18) they’ll be showing Young Frankenstein.
You do need to bring chairs or blankets to sit on. And you are not allowed to bring your own refreshments, though there will be some available for purchase at a snack bar. (My advice? Eat before you go and buy only bottled water if you get too hot.)
The movie begins at dusk, around 8:30 or 8:45 p.m., but you should get there a little early to claim a good spot!
