Free Event: North Texas Teen Book FestivalOn Saturday, March 7, the North Texas Teen Book Festival will take place at the Irving Convention Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This event is a free one-day festival created to celebrate teen literature, from both middle-grade and Young Adult authors. Over 50 teen book authors will appear at the festival, including John Corey Whaley, Stephanie Perkins and David Levithan. Attendees can have their books signed by authors and participate in a variety of activities, including discussions and readings. You can see a complete schedule of events and authors here.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to buy books at the festival for authors to sign. However, you can bring some books from home – according to the festival site, you can bring 3 books from home for every one that you buy at the event.

While admission to the festival is free, parking at the Irving Convention Center will be $5.

The Irving Convention Center is at 500 W. Las Colinas Blvd. in Irving.
