The latest addition to the already-huge indoor waterpark at Epic Waters is the new Epic Waves outdoor wave pool. The 10,000 square-foot pool has something for everyone, offering tranquil surf at the edge of the pool and a thrilling, epic wave experience towards the deeper sections. Waves can reach as high as four feet off of the water’s surface, and guests can enjoy inner tubes or life jackets to ensure they can handle the epic waves.
“Every day we wake up with the goal of providing a world-class, epic experience that stands apart from anything else that’s available in Texas and keeps our guests coming back for more,” says Epic Waters operator Richard Coleman. “Introducing a new attraction on the scale of Epic Waves during our second year of operations is sure to delight our current base of fans and attract new ones.”
If getting tossed around by epic waves isn’t your thing, don’t worry. The outdoor pool also features a large pool deck with plenty of lounge chairs for catching some sun, as well as private cabanas for those looking for a more intimate experience.
The Epic Waves outdoor wave pool is now open and will remain open through Labor Day.
