The Scarborough Renaissance Festival is once again returning to party like it’s 1599. The festival has some new tricks up its tunic sleeves this year, so whether you’re a first-time attendee or you attend every year, the festival will have plenty of surprises. Over 167 acres have been transformed into a 16-Century English Village hosting one of the largest and most popular Renaissance fairs in the nation.
The Scarborough Renaissance Festival offers live entertainment you won’t find anywhere else, unique shopping experiences, and a whole day of family-friendly fun. The festival features armored knights jousting and squaring off with swords and shields, Birds of Prey exhibits, a Mermaid Lagoon, over 200 artisans and craft vendors, and 27 stages worth of entertainers.
Best of all, the Scarborough Renaissance Festival offers daily beer and wine tastings, different themes each weekend, special events, and one-of-a-kind festival treats. There really is something for everyone here.

One helpful hint: after you park, head to the back of the park and work your way backwards to the front. You’ll beat most of the crowds who stop at each attraction once inside and make their way towards the back.
