Kids love watching movies on the big screen and during the hot summer months, it’s the perfect way to get them inside the cool air conditioning. But, movie tickets can be costly and regular showings may be difficult for little ones to sit still through. What if your family could see kid-friendly movies for practically free? With Alamo Drafthouse Cinema’s Kids Camp, you choose the ticket price!
Finding cheap things to do in Dallas/Fort Worth this summer is easy with this fun-filled kids camp program. Simply visit one of DFW’s 6 Alamo Drafthouse Cinema locations to take advantage of $1, $3, or $5 kids camp movie tickets — you choose the price! All proceeds from the camp’s ticket sales are donated to local nonprofits, chosen by each theater location.
Over the last 4 years, Alamo Kids Camp has raised almost $500,000 for nonprofits right here in our local community. And in 2018 alone, the event gave over $150,000 to charitable organizations! Help raise the bar even further this year by participating in this program for a cause that will keep kids entertained all summer long.
Catch daily screenings of popular children’s movies weekdays June-August during matinee hours. Most films are for kids ages 3 and up, although, some locations are for all ages. Check your local theater’s schedule for more information.
