AMC Summer Movie Camp

While kids look forward to summer all year long, summers can be tough on parents. When schools let out, many parents suddenly find themselves searching for ways to occupy what seem like an endless amount of long days home from school. Luckily, AMC Theaters are here to help. This summer, AMC has launched their AMC Summer Movie Camp program which get kids into a kid-friendly movie and a KidsPack for just $4.

This summer, AMC has an exciting lineup of films picked out for Summer Movie Camp. Titles include “Smallfoot,” “Trolls,” “Hotel Transylvania 3,” “Peter Rabbit,” “Wonder Park,” “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World,” “The House with a Clock in its Walls” and more. Every Wednesday, kids can see one of these films and get a special KidsPack which includes popcorn, fruit snacks, and a drink for just $4 plus tax. Kids 12 and under must be accompanied by a chaperone.

“AMC is proud to offer this program to give our AMC CLASSIC communities a fun and safe activity for kids this summer,” the company said in a statement. With streaming video set to replace the classic movie theatre experience forever, make sure your kids remember the experience of going to a theatre to see films the way they were meant to be seen: on the big screen.

The AMC Summer Movie Camp runs on Wednesday mornings from June 5 to August 14 at the following DFW-area theaters:

  • AMC CLASSIC Forney 12
  • AMC CLASSIC Hickory Creek 16
