valentinesAll week long, I’ve been getting e-mails about oh-so-fancy Valentine’s Day dinner events happening around DFW. If you don’t feel like dropping $150 a person on the big day, however, consider moving up your meal a few hours. Bistro Louise, the restaurant on Hulen that serves great French and continental cuisine, is having a Valentine’s Brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 14. It’s only $32 per person (plus the cost of drinks, tax and tip). Reservations are highly recommended, however; call 817-922-9244. No word on the menu, but I’ve never had anything bad at Bistro Louise. Seriously.

If you feel like spending a bit more, consider their “Love in Four Courses” Valentine’s dinner, which is being served on Feb. 13 and 14 from 5-10 p.m. Entree options include buffalo tenderloin, roasted confit of pheasant and salmon.
