This weekend, the Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts is hosting the 8th Annual Hyper-Local Craft Brewfest, a celebration of local brews of all kinds. The festival is the perfect opportunity for local brewers to meet with the community to share local food, local beers and other brews. The Hyper-Local Craft Brew Festival isn’t your typical beer festival. Instead of an endless parade of over-hopped IPAs, the festival features brews of all kinds focusing on small batch brewing and local ingredients. Everything from mead, cider, and of course beers will be on hand to try out alongside local food samples and small plates from area eateries and caterers. This year, the festival is focusing on Beers on Cask, Old World-style unfiltered, unaerated cask-conditioned beers from local specialty brewers.
Admission to the Hyper-Local Craft Brew Festival includes 25 tasting tickets for small batch and exclusive brews from selected vendors, live entertainment, a compostable tasting up, and a guide to the festival. Tickets to this unique event start at $40, but Goldstar.com is currently offering complimentary tickets while they last. Some fees may apply. This year, the Hyper-Local is divided into two sessions: Saturday, June 8 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm; and Saturday, June 8 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
