Not only is this playground beautiful and amazing but they have a great water feature, too. The sprayground is shower-like with a wheel-pump! They’re located in Cambridge and open dawn to dusk.
Alfond Memorial Spray Deck
280 Charles Street
Near the Charles River, this Boston splash pad is open every day from 9:30 am to 7 pm.
Artesani Playground Wading Pool
1255 Soldiers Field Road
Free and open to the public, this is a must-see. They have lifeguards, playgrounds, picnic areas, restrooms, showers, and more.
Boston Common Frog Pond
139 Tremont Street
This huge Boston splash pad has a water feature, plus ankle-deep water like a wading pool. They have events year-round and have free wifi.
Beaver Brook Spray Deck
531 Waverley Oaks Road
This public park in Waltham is free and open to the public. Their spray deck and wading pools are open from dawn to dusk.
Chuckie Harris Park
Cross Street East
Located in Somerville, this park has an innovative water feature. On some summer nights, they also play free movies!
Coolidge Playground
Columbia Street
This park has a simple water feature that’s great for keeping kids cool during the summer.
Danehy Park
99 Sherman Street
This 50-acre park in Cambridge offers a splash pad as well. They’re open dawn to dusk every day.
Dorothy Curran Play Area
1005 Columbia Road
Located at Moakley Park, this playground also has a water feature. It’s Seuss-like so you know the kids will love it.
Hyde Park
95 Turtle Pond Parkway
The John T. Moynihan Spray Deck is open every day from 9:30 am to 7 pm. They also have a pool!
Johnson Playground
Lamartine Street
This park in Jamaica Plain has a playground and spray deck. They’re open from 9:30 am to 7 pm. There are extended summer hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 9 pm.
Mission Hill Spray Deck
1 Schroeder Plaza
Located behind Boston Police, this beautiful park has great views. They’re open every day from 9:30 to 7 pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays in July and August, they close at 9 pm.
North Point Park
6 Museum Way
In Cambridge, this spacious and shady park has a large spray deck. They’re open dawn to dusk.
Reflecting Pools at Christian Science Plaza
250 Massachusetts Avenue
This child-safe plaza is open to the public every day from 9 am to 9 pm.
Rose Kennedy Greenway
Atlantic Avenue
There are four different water features to play in, all located near the North End of the park. The Rings Fountain is near the Aquarium, North End Canal Fountains, the Chintatown Stream, and the Labyrinth Fountain.
Ryan Wading Pool
350 River Street
In Mattapan, this wading pool also has a playground and nearby restrooms. They’re open every day from 10 am to 6 pm. They have extended summer hours on Thursdays.
Soule Recreation Center
Hammond Street
Located in Brookline, this small sprayground is just big enough to keep you cool while you play at the park.
Stony Brook Spray Deck
Lamartine Street
This playground in Jamaica Plain has a water feature with several fountains. They’re open dawn to dusk.
Tanner Fountain
Harvard University
Located between Harvard Yard, The Science Center, and Memorial Hall on Harvard University, this spray ground is more like a work of art.
