Codzilla is 70 feet of marine metal with a bad attitude, cruising the seas with two turbocharged diesel engines, cutting-edge water jets, and 2,800 horsepower. The boat can achieve speeds of up to 40 miles per hour and do rapid turns and spins, making it an exciting experience for anyone seeking an adrenaline rush.
Codzilla departs from Boston’s Long Wharf and brings passengers past some of the city’s most iconic sights, including the USS Constitution, the Bunker Hill Monument, and the John Hancock Tower. The boat also goes out into the port, where guests may see the city skyline from above.
Codzilla, in addition to the thrill of the ride, provides a unique viewpoint on Boston history. The voiceover on the boat describes the history of the city and its significance in the American Revolution. Passengers will also learn about some of the city’s most renowned stories, such as the legend of the Sleepy Hollow headless horseman.
