Two Door Cinema Club are a trio from Northern Ireland who make sweet-voiced dance rock in the vein of We Are Scientists. Vocalist/guitarist Alex Trimble, bassist Kevin Baird and guitarist Sam Halliday met when they were 15, and opted out of university in favor of releasing their debut EP, Four Words to Stand On, in January of 2009.
They’ll be playing ACL on Saturday, Oct. 9, at 2:20 p.m. on the Austin Ventures Stage.
