Dallas

Coffee House Cafe– This Far North Dallas cafe has it all. Indoor and outdoor seating, food, coffee, and booze. They also offer free wifi. All in all, it’s one of the best places to study in the Dallas area.

Crooked Tree– This cottage- style coffee shop and restaurant is quiet, quaint, and has free wifi. Their menu is limited but has a good variety and the food is good. Just be careful when parking- spots for customers are limited.

Mokah Coffee & Tea– Do yourself a favor and check this place out! They have an awesome covered patio, plenty of seating options, outlets and wifi. If noise bothers you while studying, be sure to check their calendar before they go. They also host spoken word nights but they’re open until 2 am on the weekends so it’s a good place to study in DFW late too.

Sip Stir Coffee House– The ambiance in this place is great. They take pride in everything from their customer service to the functionality of the restaurant. They offer free wifi, great coffee and food, and specialty drinks.

Fort Worth

Ol’ South Pancake House– This is a great late-night Fort Worth study spot. The service takes their time because the delicious pancakes are original and made from scratch. This isn’t the place to go when you’re in a rush but it’s great for a late night study sesh. They’re open 24/7.

Avoca Coffee Roasters– Their busiest times of day are mornings and lunch but if you’re an afternoon or evening reader, this place is great. They have comfy seating, tons of natural light, and free wifi.

Brewed– Coming with a host of great reviews from Buzzfeed and Thrillist, this is more than a coffee shop. Their atmosphere will inspire you, plus they have coffee, a full menu, and even a bar. They don’t call it the “locals living room” for nothin’.

Arlington

Potager’s Other Stuff– This quaint, quirky shop is completely nontraditional. There’s a recommended price list but you choose what you pay {bring cash} and there’s a fair amount of self-service. If you don’t know how to navigate it, just ask. The small plates are delicious and it’s a great place to read a book or have a small group meeting.

iCafe– Who said you have to study at a coffee shop? This Japanese & Taiwanese eatery serves delicious food, boba tea, desserts and coffee. They also offer free wifi.

Urban Alchemy– This place has wifi and just a few outlets so bring a charged laptop or a power stick. They have food menus on the table but you order at the counter. Their food, wine, and coffee is all delish.

Grapevine

RE:defined Coffee House– This cozy, artsy coffee house has comfy seating options, outlets and wifi, and delicious food, coffees, and teas.

Buon Giorno– With locations in Fort Worth, Grapevine, and Southlake, this chain coffee shop boasts their love of the slower life, which makes it the perfect study spot in the DFW area. They also offer their own micro- roasted coffee, plus wifi and outlets for customers.

Great Harvest Bread Co.– This bakery in Southlake is known for their handmade, delicious breads and pastries. They have great soups, sandwiches, and more. They close early- 3 pm on Sundays and 7 pm every other day.
