Head to the Amon Carter Museum for the “Barbara Crane: Challenging Vision” photography exhibit. The display features more than 200 striking images from the renowned photographer. This is an ongoing event that lasts till May 10.

Even if you haven’t been training, you can still be a spectator at the 31st annual Cowtown Marathon, which begins at 7:30 a.m. Saturday in downtown Fort Worth. Runners will be coming through many areas in the central part of the city, including the TCU campus and the cultural district. Check out https://www.cowtownmarathon.org for a list of good places to observe the race. On Friday and Saturday, a health and fitness expo sponsored by UNT Health Sciences Center will be held in conjunction with the race. You can get free health screenings and health information from UNT medical school staff.

Take your kids to your local Lowes home improvement store for their monthly Build and Grow Workshop on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. This month, kids can help build a wooden race car. The workshop is free, but you’ll need to register; visit www.lowesbuildandgrow.com to let them know you’ll be coming.

Feel like a drive? Then come to First Monday Trade Days in Weatherford Friday through Sunday to check out crafts, antiques and odds n’ ends from hundreds of vendors. Directions and a map can be found here.
