Update 7/9/14: I received a call from Pluckers today asking me to remove this post. Apparently, they have been overwhelmed with customers and have had to turn away some people. (They said that the promo was only for Facebook fans – so be sure to like their page if you go.) And be prepared to be turned away, especially if you don’t arrive right at the beginning of the shift. I’ve also updated the post with more details. Who doesn’t like free food? Starting today, the new Pluckers in Fort Worth will offer free meals to customers who come at designated times. This is the restaurant’s way of helping their staff to “practice” before the real opening of the restaurant. To get a free meal, show up at any of the following times:
July 7-9: Anytime from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 6-8 p.m.
If you are a member of the Pluckers Club, you can also attend the following shifts in addition to the ones above (be sure to bring your card):
July 10-12: Anytime from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 6-8 p.m.
A few caveats: Each party may have no more than 4 people, including children. If you have a bigger party, they’ll need to be split across several tables. Each diner will receive an entree, side and non-alcoholic beverage, and the table will receive either a dessert or appetizer to share. No additional food is available for purchase, but alcoholic drinks can be bought. Customers should also be aware that service may be slow, since the servers are new.
Pluckers is at 9229 Rain Lily Trail in Fort Worth, in Alliance Town Center.
